At the heart of the rotund Atrium is the Checkout Desk. The light-filled space is topped by a large, geometric skylight.

Just off the Atrium is the entrance to Café 641, where visitors to the Library Center can enjoy coffee drinks, pastry, sandwiches, soups and salads.
