Position: Volunteer Walking Books Driver

| The Volunteer Walking Books Driver will
be responsible for the delivery of Library materials to
homebound patrons. |
|
| Responsibilities Include: |
- Picks up pre-packaged library materials from the
Library and loads into personal vehicle.
- Drives to patrons home to deliver new materials
and collects previous materials.
- Keeps track of mileage for reimbursement and logs
deliveries.
- Returns collected materials and returns to Library
with delivery log.

| Requirements: |
- Ability to complete work tasks quickly with accuracy,
consistency, dependability and with little supervision.
- Ability to interact pleasantly, constructively and
cooperatively with Library patrons and staff.
- Requires dependable vehicle, valid Missouri driver’s
license and proof of auto insurance.

| Physical Demands: |
- Displays good hand-eye coordination and mobility.
- Routine lifting of Library materials weighing up
to 20 lbs.
|
| Working Environment: |
- Primarily outdoors, year round.
|
| Miscellaneous Requirements: |
- Must be able to pass a security background check,
if applicable.
