Mrs. Ruby M. Robins, President, announces, the White River Valley Historical Society will hold its annual Fall Meeting on September 10, in the Balcony Room of Friendship House at the School of the Ozarks. This is at the entrance to the school on Highway 65, two miles south of Branson.
The Meeting will open at 1:00 o’clock. Dinner will be optional. The School serves a Smorgasbord Dinner starting at 12:00 noon, price $2.50, drink and dessert included.
The program will include, "Three Minute Stories Not In Print" presented by members of the Society. County Chairman who will see to it that at least two stories come from the county are: Carrol County, Arkansas. Coy Logan; Douglas County, Mrs. Cinita Brown; Christian County, Mrs. Lucille Adams Anderson; Ozark County, Mrs. Stella Luna; Marion County Arkansas, Mrs. L.D. Burns; Stone County, Mrs. Ruth Asher; Taney County, Mrs. Helen Fletcher and Steve Miller.
