   Library Station - Teen Night After Hours  
  Summer Prep. You've almost made it. School's out in...what?... A week?...Two weeks? Prepare to make the most of summer with a Teen Night full of excitement--get a sneak peek at our summer reading program and participate in a prize-filled scavenger hunt. The Library is open for Playstation, Wii and Xbox 360 games and free Internet access. Enter a prize drawing for gift certificates from Panera Bread. Participants may not leave before 10:30 p.m. unless a parent or guardian picks them up. 9:00 pm to 10:30 pm at the Library Station. Call 865-1340.

  Making Changes: Our Space, Your Space. It's about time we had a book cart with the right look for Teen Central. Forget boring old beige, it's got to be....well, we think you ought to decide. Help us update, refashion and transmogrify a standard issue book cart into one suitable for our teen space. Help pimp our book cart and, in addition, get tips and discover new resources for changing your own space. It's our space and your space metamorphosing.   Transform Your Trash. Let your imagination be your inspiration and make something new (sculpture, jewelry, a wild fashion statement) from what you might have thrown away. Junk has endless possibilities--bring some in and be original, but don't bring in any broken glass since we won't be making mosaics.   Breaking Dawn & Teen Takes. You've been waiting all summer, now come celebrate! Watch the winners of the 2008 Teen Takes Video Contest on the big screen, rock out to music on the patio and answer the ultimate question, Jacob or Edward, as we celebrate the release of "Breaking Dawn" by Stephenie Meyer. Dress in costume and answer trivia for prizes. The Library is open for Xbox games, music, crafts prizes and free Internet access.
